After a severe head trauma that forced him to abandon his career as a soccer player, Etienne Stablinka woke up from a seven month coma with no purpose in life. As he spent long weeks in the hospital recovering from his injury, he started cutting images from magazines an rearranging them into new ones, and never stopped ever since. He now lives in a quiet village in Brittany, spending all of his time alone, creating strange images, machines and games, only going out to get some material, and always wearing a smiling welder mask.

You will never find any reference to soccer in his works.
